Ever wonder what all goes into producing craft beer, spirits and Cannabis oil? Get an insiders’ look at how the ever growing craft beer and distillery industry in Spokane operates and taste their creations. Start with a tour and tasting at Steel Barrel Brewing, an incubator of three craft breweries. Here, the breweries share equipment, prefect their craft then move on to their own brewery. The anchor brewer, Young Buck Brewing has produced some award winning brews and even has one made with apricots in a wine barrel. It is fascinating to see all the steps that go into making a craft beer. Taste some of their creations before departing. Next, to ODO Fine Oil where they take the cannabis plant and extract the terpene, naturally found in the plant and with a CO2 extraction technique, turn it into oil which is sold in concentrates and other forms. Last stop is award winning, Dry Fly Distilling, for a tasting and tour of the distillery. A true “Farm to Bottle” distillery, they source their grain from within 30 miles of Spokane. Walk through the process of fermentation to distilling to aging their whiskey, vodka, gin and rum, then taste the finished product either straight or as a cocktail. You may have heard of Dry Fly, they are known all over the world for their fine spirits.
