Start at Dry Fly Distilling, an award winning distillery and the first in Washington State after prohibition. Tour their production area with huge copper tanks and taste their world renowned vodka, gin, bourbon and whiskey in a cocktail or straight. Next, to Black Label Brewing Company, located in the Saranac Commons. Meet the brewers and taste some of their creations. Also tour the Saranac Commons, fashioned after Melrose Market in Seattle, converting an old garage to a public market, don’t miss the glass bottle art overhead. You’ll have time to grab a bite here if you’d like. Last stop is One Tree Cider. When it comes to flavor, cider is clearly its own thing, a product of the complex interplay between various apples’ acids, tannins and sugars as they come into contact with yeast. Spokane’s only 20 tap house with ciders such as Lemon Basit and Caramel Cinnamon. Along the way, your guide will tell stories of Spokane’s past and share information about the distilleries and breweries you are visiting.
